Terms of use
By creating an account or using magiacard you agree to these terms. They cover how you may use the platform, what we provide, and how we end the relationship if either side needs to. Read them together with our privacy policy.
1. About magiacard
magiacard is a smart identity platform that lets verified companies publish a public profile, share it through QR codes and NFC tags, and view anonymous visit analytics. We operate the platform; companies own the content they publish on it.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority where you live, to create an account. Each account is personal — keep your password confidential and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to verify the identity of the person or company behind an account before approving the registration request.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You are the sole owner and author of the information, logo, media, and links you publish on your magiacard profile, and you are fully responsible for its accuracy, legality, and the rights to use it. By uploading content you grant magiacard a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and deliver it to visitors of your public page — and nothing more. You may remove or edit your content at any time from the owner dashboard.
4. QR codes and NFC tags
Each company is assigned a unique URL slug, a QR code, and optionally one or more NFC tags. These identifiers belong to the platform and remain valid as long as your account is active. Locked NFC tags cannot be rewritten by visitors. If a tag is lost or stolen you can disable it from the dashboard; new tags can be issued on request.
5. Prohibited use
You must not use magiacard to publish content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, or hateful; to impersonate a company you do not represent; to attempt to access another account or our infrastructure without authorization; or to abuse our APIs, scraping or bypassing rate limits. We may suspend or remove any account that violates these rules.
6. Suspension and termination
Either side may end the relationship at any time. You can close your account from the settings page; we will delete your profile from the public index immediately and retain a minimum copy of your data for the period required by law before erasing it. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, for fraud, or to comply with a legal request — with notice where possible.
7. As-is service and limitation of liability
magiacard is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do our best to keep the platform secure and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or any specific business outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the platform changes or to reflect a new legal requirement. When we make a material change we'll show a notice in the dashboard and update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which magiacard is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. For any question about these terms write to us at hello@magiacard.app.
